Krome dispense’s  3/16″ I.D. vinyl tubing use for the beer line in most situations where the distance among the keg and the faucet is less than 5′. The ID balances the pressure that applies to the keg. ID provides the proper restriction to the beer flow. As a higher than normal keg pressure would be necessary to dispense the beer, this size hose is not suitable for use in lengths longer than 5′ as this would cause the beer to get excessively carbonated (foamy).
