Racking cane is an important home brewing tool. It is used to transfer wort and beer from one vessel or container to the other at different steps of brewing. Racking cane height depends on the depth of fermenter. Racking cane is available in. lengths of 24″ and 30″ and Larger 1/2″ Diameter or smaller 3/8″  Diameter of racking tubing controls the volume of beer to be transferred.

It is a hollow tube through which the liquid rises and can be directed to a container with the help of a tube attached. It is also used in beer bottling.
It is sometimes used for mixing brew as well.

Racking cane is made from 304-grade stainless steel 3/8″ OD tubing, brewery grade silicone hose is needed to transfer the beer.

Note- Please make sure that silicon hose you chooses must have 3/8″ ID for a snug fit over beer racking cane.
