So you have couplers not just for dispensing beer from the kegs but also to clean and fill the again.
To rinse and clean the keg, the coupler is attached to the keg valve to open it. Cleaner solution is sent into the keg through the beer outlet under pressure. The solution hits the walls and sanitizes the entire keg and comes out from the gas inlet. Repeat the process with water until you wash out the cleaner completely.
